What You’ll Be Doing
As an R&D WIL Learner, you will play a supporting yet impactful role within the Research & Development team. Your daily responsibilities will involve assisting with various stages of product development, from early experimentation to full-scale production trials.
Support Product Development & Trials
You will help prepare and execute trial protocols under the guidance of an R&D Technologist or Manager. This includes assisting with planning, organizing, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned before trials begin.
You’ll also:
- Participate in pilot plant and factory trials
- Assist in setting up pre-trial meetings
- Help communicate trial requirements to relevant teams
- Collect and document trial data for analysis
This exposure will give you valuable insight into how new beverage products are developed and refined before reaching consumers.
Work in the Laboratory Environment
A key part of your role will involve conducting routine laboratory tests to ensure product quality and consistency. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard testing methods such as:
- Salt Analysis
- Oil Analysis
- Moisture Analysis
- Bulk Density Testing
- Particle Size Evaluation
These tests are critical in maintaining product standards and ensuring compliance with quality specifications.
Pilot Plant & Production Support
You will assist in collecting base products from production lines and preparing them for pilot plant trials. Working in this environment will help you understand how small-scale experiments translate into large-scale manufacturing processes.

- Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Minimum Requirements:
