Your Mission: Power the Sun City Experience
As an IT Support Technician, you’ll be the go-to problem-solver keeping our 24/7 operation humming. No two days are the same in this dynamic role—expect variety, impact, and the satisfaction of instant fixes. Here’s what you’ll own:
- Data Centre Guardian: Stabilise our critical server environment, detect issues early, and implement continuous improvements based on service stats (CSIP) to prevent downtime during peak seasons.
- Incident Response Pro: Jump on end-user tickets that need more than a phone call—use diagnostics for rapid desktop resolutions, provide clear feedback to the service desk, and coach users on software mastery.
- Desktop Deployment Expert: Prep, install, and update hardware/software across workstations, ensuring every casino terminal, hotel booking system, and gaming floor device is optimised.
- Inventory & Vendor Maestro: Maintain spare parts stock for quick repairs, liaise with vendors for parts/services/logistics, escalate issues, and handle orders—keeping costs low and uptime high.
- User Engagement Champion: Build trust through active listening, telephone skills, and personalised training, turning frustrated guests/staff into tech-savvy fans.
- Productivity Recommender: Spot opportunities for better tools/equipment, making recommendations that boost efficiency in gaming, hospitality, and leisure ops.
