Key Responsibilities:

Your daily contributions will encompass a diverse range of critical tasks designed to maintain operational efficiency and uphold our stringent quality standards:

• Loading and Unloading Operations: You will expertly manage the intricate process of loading and unloading a variety of trucks, encompassing everything from incoming raw materials vital to our production, to outgoing finished goods ready for market, and the careful handling of various shipping containers. This requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to all safety protocols.
• Comprehensive Labelling: Accuracy in identification is paramount. You will be responsible for the meticulous labelling of all raw materials upon arrival, ensuring precise identification of finished goods before dispatch, and correctly marking all containers for efficient tracking and compliance.
• Forklift Daily Maintenance: While primarily an operator role, you will be entrusted with performing essential daily maintenance checks and minor upkeep services on our forklifts as necessary. This proactive approach ensures the continuous and safe operation of our equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Material Handling Expertise: Your role will involve the adept and safe handling of a wide array of materials, including delicate raw materials, various packaging components, and the careful movement of our finished goods within the warehouse environment. This demands a strong understanding of material properties and best handling practices.
• In-Process Record Completion: Meticulous record-keeping is a cornerstone of our operations. You will accurately complete all in-process records for each operation performed, contributing to our comprehensive data tracking and ensuring full traceability throughout the logistics chain.

• Sample Collection and Dispatch to QC: You will play a vital role in quality assurance by accurately collecting representative samples of materials and products and efficiently dispatching them to our Quality Control department for thorough analysis, contributing directly to our product quality control processes.

You Bring:

To excel in this role and contribute effectively to our team, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Proven Experience: A minimum of at least two years (+2 years) of previous, demonstrable experience in a similar warehouse or logistics operator role is essential. This experience should showcase your practical skills and understanding of warehouse operations.
• Expertise in Task-Based Risk Assessment: A strong understanding and expertise in conducting task-based Risk Assessments are highly valued. Your ability to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures is crucial for maintaining a safe working environment.
• Forklift Driving License (Strong Advantage): While not strictly mandatory, possessing a valid forklift driving license is considered a significant and strong advantage. This not only demonstrates a core competency but also highlights your readiness to contribute immediately to our material handling operations.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Topics: A foundational knowledge of critical food safety topics, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FSSC 22000, Food Defense, and general Food Safety principles, is highly desirable, reflecting our commitment to product integrity.
