Duties & Responsibilities: A Comprehensive Overview of Key Accountabilities

The Maintenance Manager will be entrusted with a broad range of critical responsibilities, ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of all maintenance activities. These duties are central to upholding Tsebo’s commitment to quality and client satisfaction:

  • Strategic Implementation and Oversight of Maintenance Schedules: The manager will be responsible for the meticulous implementation and continuous monitoring of preventative maintenance schedules. This includes developing robust schedules for all equipment and infrastructure, ensuring that routine checks, servicing, and calibration are performed as planned to preempt potential issues, minimize downtime, and extend asset lifespans. Furthermore, maintaining accurate and up-to-date equipment registers will be a key responsibility, providing a comprehensive inventory and service history for all assets under management.
  • Contractor Management and SLA Adherence: A crucial aspect of this role involves the effective supervision of external contractors. The Maintenance Manager will be accountable for vetting, engaging, and overseeing third-party service providers, ensuring that their performance rigorously adheres to the terms and conditions outlined in the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
