We are specifically looking for individuals who possess direct, hands-on experience within a detergent factory setting. Essential Skills and Experience You’ll Bring to Our Team:
To excel as our Factory Technician, you must demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience actively working with Raw Materials for Detergent Blending, Mixing, Decanting, and Packing. Your expertise in these core areas will be vital to maintaining our high standards of product quality and operational efficiency. We’re looking for someone who is intimately familiar with:
- Raw Material Handling: Understanding the properties, storage, and safe handling procedures for a variety of chemical raw materials used in detergent formulations.
- Precision Blending and Mixing: Operating and maintaining blending equipment, accurately measuring ingredients, and ensuring consistent product homogeneity according to strict recipes.
- Efficient Decanting Processes: Skillfully transferring finished or semi-finished products from bulk containers to smaller vessels, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
- Optimized Packing Operations: Contributing to or overseeing the packing of various detergent products, ensuring correct labeling, weight, and presentation for market readiness.
Added Advantages to Strengthen Your Application:
While not strictly mandatory, possessing a valid South African Driver’s License will be a distinct advantage for this role. This could facilitate occasional material pickups, deliveries, or inter-site transfers, adding flexibility to your responsibilities.
Your Work Environment and Schedule:
This permanent, full-time position is based in person within the vibrant Eastern Suburbs of Gauteng, specifically in the Eastleigh / Ekurhuleni area. Our modern facility offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. We operate on a consistent schedule, Monday to Friday, allowing for a predictable and balanced work-life structure.
