One of the primary responsibilities of this role is transporting healthcare professionals to and from client appointments. Drivers must ensure that professionals arrive safely and on time, allowing them to carry out medical assessments and consultations as scheduled.
2. Transporting Medical Samples
Drivers will collect and transport medical samples, such as blood specimens, from designated collection points or drop-boxes to laboratories or other authorised locations. These samples are essential for medical underwriting and must be handled with care and delivered promptly.
3. Collecting Laboratory Samples and Medical Documents
The role includes fulfilling collection tasks related to laboratory samples and important medical documentation. This may involve visiting multiple locations throughout the day to gather materials required for processing client portfolios.
4. Following Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
All collections and deliveries must comply with the company’s established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Drivers are expected to track their tasks carefully and ensure all deliveries are completed within the required timeframes.
5. Maintaining Confidentiality
Handling medical samples and client documentation requires strict adherence to privacy regulations. Drivers must always maintain the confidentiality of personal information and ensure that sensitive documents are protected from unauthorised access.
