Job Title: Professional Cleaning Specialist (Residential & Commercial)

Location: Various client sites across the region, necessitating flexible travel within the designated service area. Placement will vary daily and weekly based on client schedules and operational needs.

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (Temp-to-Perm)

Contract Duration: Initial 3-Month Probationary Period

Compensation: R4,000.00 – R6,000.00 per month (depending on experience, performance, and successful completion of the probationary period).

Job Description:

We are actively seeking dedicated and meticulous individuals to join our dynamic cleaning team as Professional Cleaning Specialists. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to maintaining pristine environments across both residential and commercial sectors, working both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive Cleaning Services: Execute a wide range of cleaning tasks to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in diverse settings, including:
  • Residential Properties: Homes, apartments, condominiums, and other private dwellings. Tasks may include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom sanitation, kitchen cleaning, window washing (interior), and general tidying.
  • Commercial Establishments: Offices, retail spaces, medical facilities, educational institutions, and other business premises. Responsibilities may encompass floor care (sweeping, mopping, buffing), waste disposal, restroom sanitization, surface disinfection, common area maintenance, and restocking supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Actively participate as a vital member of a cleaning team. Teamwork is paramount to our success, as teams are frequently deployed to efficiently and effectively complete complex commercial and residential cleaning tasks on a daily basis. This includes:
  • Effective communication and coordination with team members to ensure all assigned duties are completed thoroughly and on schedule.
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Sharing responsibilities and adapting to changing priorities as a cohesive unit.
• Individual Performance: Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously when assigned individual tasks, managing time effectively and delivering consistent, high-quality results without direct supervision.
• Adherence to Standards: Consistently follow established cleaning protocols, safety guidelines, and company policies. Ensure the correct use of cleaning equipment and supplies, promoting efficiency and preventing damage.
• Client Satisfaction: Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients (where applicable), ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to work in various locations daily, adapting to different environments, client needs, and task requirements. A willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to evolving best practices in cleaning is essential.
• Equipment Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, pressure washers (depending on assignment), and other specialized tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly advantageous, but not strictly required for candidates demonstrating a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Physical Stamina: The role requires significant physical activity, including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving cleaning equipment.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to cleaning, ensuring no detail is overlooked and every space is left spotless.
• Reliability and Punctuality: Dependability is crucial, as team schedules and client appointments must be strictly adhered to.
• Team Player: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Independent Work Ethic: Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently when working alone.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to identify and address cleaning challenges effectively.
• Safety Consciousness: A strong understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations in a cleaning environment.
• Transportation (Preferred): Access to reliable transportation is a significant asset due to the varied placement locations.
